Lone Star Zine Fest 2024
It's that time of the year again! We are happy to report that we will be traveling to Austin, TX to participate in this year's Lone Star Zine Fest. The festival is going down on Saturday and Sunday, October 19th and 20th, from 12 - 6pm. Just mosey on over to the Blue Genie Art Bazaar at 6100 Airport Blvd to join the festivities!
Please note that if you would like to see us specifically, we will be there on Saturday only.
LSZF features a ton of unique zine creators and small presses in the Austin area and beyond. The annual event is an excellent opportunity to check out the latest publications and prints from a diverse mix of artists. If you're unfamiliar with zines (they're small 'magazines'), it's also a great place to learn more while supporting community. The festival is organized by Austin Zine Friends, which is a volunteer organization that is passionate about creating space for zine makers and fans to come together.
This will be our 5th time tabling at LSZF! We first joined the fest in 2018 for a very hot day at The North Door, a music venue and cocktail lounge that was on Brushy St. Fun fact: this event was about a year after the floods of Hurricane Harvey, and was one of the first debuts of our Total Monsoon omnibus zine!
