Some Texas tall tales are true. Take for example, the tale of the baby gator my dad received as a childhood birthday gift. Her name was Gertrude. When it was too cold to be in the backyard, she got to sleep in a baby pool in the living room. She was loved. Friends, on the record, I do not condone pet gators.
