The Museum of Salt and Pepper Shakers is a real place, and this is a real zine about that place and its magnificent collection!
Printed in full Risograph color, this photography zine is a tribute to the art form of shakers and lofi photos. Pulled together by James Beard, the zine features 23 photographs of salt and pepper shakers on display in the museum in Fall of 2021.
Each color plate is printed on our risograph, which is a stencil printing machine that prints one color at a time. We printed with red, yellow, and blue inks to make the full color images featured in this book. The resulting images are fuzzy and warm, and will transport you to a fantasy world of seasoned delights.
Each zine measures approximately 5" x 7", and is 44 pages long including cover. Ships via stamped envelope unless ordered with one of our art prints.
Risograph printing varies from print to print, including the alignment of colors. Your zine will be slightly unique in this regard. Thanks!
