Rockin' Rollin' Prints 2025
Houston buds-- we'll be at the Orange Show Center for Visionary Art, aka the building behind the Orange Show, this weekend for the annual Rockin' and Rollin' Prints event!
For this event, participating artists have carved 3' by 5' MDF and plywood blocks with original designs, and we're going to ink them up and run over them with a steamroller! James is finishing up his block this week, so we'll have our own Mystic Multiples piece in the roundup. And if you've never been to a steamroller printing event, this is an excellent and free event to check out and enjoy. Come out on October 12th, from 10am - 4pm!
UPDATE: The block is carved! James made a piece inspired by the fable of Old King Log / The Frogs Who Desired a King. If you're not familiar, I recommend you check it out! Here's a preview of the block:
We will also have a collection of risograph, letterpress, and screen prints available at the simultaneous From Press to Table Print Fair, so look for our table while at the event. Fingers crossed for some excellent weather!
